About the Club
Since the 1970s, the Comox Valley Potters Club has been a community of potters of all levels, sharing, connecting, and developing as artists.
Membership in the club includes access to the North Island College (NIC)’s Ceramics Studio one day a week with weekly kiln firings. We also have access to a variety of kilns through NIC including raku, high-firing gas kilns, and soda firing.
The club provides learning opportunities through shared studio time, member-driven workshops, and social events. The Club hosts two pottery sales events each year. We contribute to the community by hosting a yearly YANA fundraiser, student bursaries and a fundraiser raffle during the sales.
We are a nonprofit organization with over 50 members who share a passion for making pottery and volunteer their time to make the Club successful.
